Solomon Matthews, M.Ed.

A native of New Orleans, Solomon Matthews earned his Bachelor of Social Work at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. More recently, Solomon graduated from USC Rossier with his Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. He is thrilled to now have the opportunity to serve in the role of Associate Director for USC’s Office of Orientation Programs. Previously, he was an academic and career advisor for graduate students in Rossier. While enrolled as a student, Solomon worked as the Graduate Assistant for USC’s Office of Orientation Programs and was a Rossier Dean’s Scholar Intern in the Master’s Programs Office. During his time as a student, he served as President of The PASA Network as well as Vice-President of USC’s Black Graduate Student Network. Solomon is excited to continue offering his talents to the University of Southern California and is honored to have the opportunity to support undergraduate students from all backgrounds in their pursuit of excellence and effecting change in communities across the globe.
